Product at Heart 2024: Unveiling Our Complete Line-Up of Speakers

We are beyond thrilled to reveal the complete lineup of speakers for Product at Heart 2024. This year, we have continued our tradition of curating a lineup that showcases the depth, diversity, and dynamic nature of the product management field, and we are immensely proud of the results. Here's a glimpse of what awaits you this September:

Keynote Speakers

We're honoured to host four renowned keynote speakers who have significantly shaped the product management landscape:

  • Melissa Perri, CEO of Product Institute and author of "Escaping the Build Trap" and "Product Operations" will discuss topics around how to get out of the build trap, particularly around product strategy and product ops. She will talk about what's happening in our industry right now and how product managers can live up to the "product thinking improves how we work and makes companies more successful"-promise we've given for years.

  • Kate Leto, Executive Coach and author of "Hiring Product Managers," will share how the stories we tell our teams shape our product's future and how these stories have an impact on the people around us.

  • Tim Herbig, Product Management Coach and seasoned practitioner will explore how adopting practices like Discovery, OKRs, and Strategy to team contexts leads to meaningful outcomes.

  • Oliver Reichenstein, Founder and Director of Information Architects Inc., will share his insights on how pausing and reflecting helps us avoid jumping on every trend in product management and how practicing this contributed to his success.

Each keynote speaker brings a unique perspective to the single-track part of the day. But that's not all; we also have a dual-track segment featuring fantastic session speakers. Attendees will choose two of the four-session themes, each featuring three talks. Here's what you can expect:

Themed Sessions

Our themes for 2024 resonate with the current shifts and challenges in product management. Across these themes, our session speakers will delve into practical and strategic topics essential for today's product professionals:

  • HOW WE WORK: Product Operating Models in Practice Featuring Tamer El-Hawari, Flavia Neves, and Gopika M., this theme explores effective frameworks and operational strategies that top-performing product organizations implement.

  • FROM GROWTH TO PROFIT: Rethink Value Creation Rich Mironov, Fabrice des Mazery, and Felix Fichtl share insights on transitioning from growth metrics to sustainable profitability through strategic product management.

  • WINNING TOGETHER: Blueprints for Collaborative Success Bruce McCarthy, Emmi Meurling, and Niamh Jones will focus on fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders to build successful product ecosystems.

  • SKILLSET TO MINDSET: Realizing Your Potential as a Product Manager With Timoté Geimer, Axel Sooriah, and Jennifer Michelmann, this theme emphasizes the importance of soft skills alongside technical expertise to fully realize a product manager's potential.

Breaks, Party, and Partners

While our speakers are an essential part of the conference experience, engaging with fellow attendees and building a sense of community is equally vital. We encourage you to network, share experiences, and learn from your peers. To foster this, we will be announcing a range of side events shortly and plan with longer breaks throughout the conference day, including an after-party.

Additionally, you'll find an exhibition area with partners like Atlassian, airfocus, Eurodata, and Pendo, ready to answer questions about their tools and offerings.

Beyond the Conference Day: Leadership Forum and Workshops

In addition to the main conference, we offer exclusive workshops and a leadership forum for personalized learning and networking.

In our workshop some of you will learn from Martin Eriksson, Bruce McCarthy, Rich Mironov and Ozzie Yuce on Product Strategy, Stakeholder Management and the essentials of Product Leadership and Product Management.

The Leadership Forum will feature deep dives with Kate Leto, Rich Mironov, and Sohrab Salimi, providing nuanced discussions tailored for product leaders.

The Deeply Grateful Hosts

We are about to embark on three days of product learning with 19 speakers across all events. We are deeply grateful to our speakers for saying yes to traveling to Hamburg, yes to the challenge of walking on stage, yes to hours of rehearsals and preparation, and yes to sharing their rich experiences. Their contributions make Product at Heart such a special place.
