What to Expect from our Leadership Event in April
You're wondering what we have planned for the Leadership Event in April - and rightfully so. Let us walk you through what's in store.
First things first: the event is no longer a half-day format like in previous years. It's now one and a half days of meeting with peers, making meaningful connections, having a great time together, and enjoying great content, talks, and mini workshops.
Monday 20 April 2026
Monday Morning: Real Stories from the Field
We'll kick off with four practitioners sharing real-life stories from their product leadership work:
Johannes Kleske will talk about future thinking and vision.
Pippa Topp will share her perspective on energy and putting yourself first as a product leader - an important topic.
Francesca Cortesi will talk about courage and cross-functional collaboration.
Afonso Malo Franco will share his real-life experiences from reorganizing his product organization and using OKRs while doing so.
Monday Lunch & Dinner
Our partner Netlight will be hosting us in their offices for the entire day - including a wonderful dinner. Plenty of time to mingle and have meaningful conversations with the other attendees.
Monday Afternoon: Pick Your Adventure
After lunch, we're leaving the building. Yes, really!
There will be three excursions happening across Hamburg, and you'll need to pick your adventure (we'll ask you to choose before the event):
🌊 A boat ride through the Hamburg Harbor - because some of the best conversations happen on the water.
🎭 A leadership improvisation workshop with Chris Heimann - all about your presence in space.
🌱 A visit to an organic farm just outside Hamburg - where you'll hear about their journey into digitally selling the “products” they harvest on their farm to the inhabitants of Hamburg.
All of these excursions are not only meant to give you new impulses, but also allow you to spend quality time with your peers. There will be plenty of time for your conversations, because let’s face it: When else do you get a chance to have proper conversations with a group of other product leaders.
Monday Evening: Dinner & Conversations
Dinner is included, so even more time for conversations with your peers. And remember - it's just 60 people at this event, so there are good chances to connect with everyone - if you want to.

Tuesday Morning: Six Mini Workshops
On Tuesday, we change format. We'll host six mini workshops - 90-minute sessions that are all about collaboration and conversation. This is not a formal training or a talk. These are six distinct topics, and the facilitators will create space for real exchange.
Björn Waide will discuss AI readiness with you - from individual hacks to shared capability
Petra Wille will help you reflect your leadership role with the Product Leadership Wheel
Susanne Kaiser will touch on all things team topologies. You can bring your own tricky cases and questions, and Susanne will help work through them with the group
Martin Eriksson will do a similar format with all questions related to directional clarity and the Decision Stack: Bring your hard strategy problems!
Shaun Russell and Tobias Freudenreich will share 3 coaching frameworks for better Product Leadership - and practice with you how to apply them in your leadership work
André Hubert & Lisa Kolbe will host a session around what leaders says vs what leaders do - and how to navigate the tension in between.
Each workshop runs twice, so you'll get to pick two.
