It’s about time: How to take care of a limited resource and become a better PM

The struggle with time is probably as old as the product management profession itself. We have a thousand tasks, meetings, people to inform and things to think through — every day of the week.

It’s all fun and games until it becomes too much, won’t leave time for lunch and leaves us feeling like we are stuck in a hamster wheel. It’s ironic that we value outcome over output, but at the same time think we only have to run faster in order to get on top of things again. So while we get swallowed up in routines and meetings and emails, we somehow miss the most important thing: The only person who can make this stop is us.

This talk should help product people to take a step back and realize that they are in charge. Not only of their teams and their products, but most importantly of their own wellbeing and their own time.

Together, we will look into concrete examples of how to figure out your priorities and your schedule, what to do if things get too much, and how to get support as a product manager— so you can spent your time in the best possible way.

Beyond PM Craft Skills: Human Skills for Next-Level Growth

Ever wondered what truly drives success and growth in a product career and beyond? It's not just IQ or technical skills, but the often-overlooked human skills that create the biggest transformations.

It’s no coincidence that the most popular course at Stanford Business School for the past 45 years is called "Touchy Feely". Steve Jobs, Satya Nadella, Shreyas Doshi, and most leaders showcased on Lenny’s podcast have experienced this.

In this talk, I’ll share how three keys—Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Humility—have transformed life as a product leader, a husband and a father. These keys have opened doors I never imagined, validated by my peers, and can do the same for you.

If you feel stuck or sense untapped potential within, join me to discover how these touchy-feely aspects can bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be, leading to a more fulfilling and successful life.
