Workshop 1
OKRs: Everything you need to know to get started
UPDATE: Jeff Gothelf’s Workshop is booked out.
Using a mix of short lectures, hands-on practice and group discussion, Jeff Gothelf will teach you how to put Objectives & Key Results into practice. Participants will walk away with a better sense of how these techniques manifest as day-to-day activities and, most importantly, what it means to the way they are leading and managing engagements while at the same time incentivizing their own teams. Most importantly, this workshop will help the team implement human-centered goals and show that agility can be applied in any discipline.
The OKR workshop will consist of modules that cover:
Why we need to shift from outputs to outcome-based management
What a good OKR looks like
Writing OKR statements
Planning work with OKRs – outcome-based roadmaps
What happens after OKRs? Intro to product discovery
Common pitfalls and traps when implementing this way of working
What you will learn
How to set strategic customer-centric goals and measure success objectively focusing on outcomes rather than just outputs or initiatives for clients
What organizational impacts should we expect from OKR implementation?

Workshop 2
Product Discovery
UPDATE: Tim Herbig’s initial Workshop on 29th June and the additional workshop on 28th June are both booked out.
Product Discovery is more than talking to users. But it's easy for teams to be held back by an overwhelm of frameworks and "do it right." When the thing matters are their iteration toward reducing uncertainty.
If you strip away all the frameworks, buzzwords, and "best practices," the core intention of Product Discovery is about the data-informed reduction of uncertainty regarding problems worth solving and solutions worth building through a series of nonlinear activities conducted as a cross-functional team.
That’s why this workshop focuses on helping you understand individual Discovery context and when to apply what technique to make progress, over just introducing new canvases or frameworks.
After the workshop, you will be able to:
Frame your Product Discovery through Strategy, OKRs, and Product Roadmaps to identify and prioritize the right Problem Space.
Articulate research intent to choose and combine the proper research techniques for your problem with a short lead time to insight.
Connect insights, solutions, and experiments to overarching business goals through Impact Mapping.
Develop a structure for testing generated ideas to enable evidence-informed decision-making.
Who should Attend
(Senior) Product Managers who want to go beyond measuring efficiency through Story Points and Velocity.
Heads of Product and VPs of Product who are looking for a new perspective on enabling their product teams.
UX Designers who want to participate in user-centered discussions beyond wireframes and pixels.
Product Ops Managers, Agile Coaches, and Scrum Masters who want to support product teams beyond Scrum rituals.
Engineers who want to engage in Product Discovery before it's time to start talking about solutions.
